I received an e-mail the other day, out of the blue, from Michele Flanagan.  She asked if I'd like to see some photos she came across while going through some of her Uncle's stuff.  Naturally, I said, "Of course!" and I asked after her Uncle.  The good news is her Uncle Frank Stiak, a Korean War Vet who served aboard USS New Jersey from 1950 to 1952 is still alive and well living in Illinois (as of this writing July 16, 2010).

Thank you, Michele, for thinking of us and thank you Frank for taking the photos displayed below.

A few weeks ago I received an e-mail from Frank Kelly.  He had loaned me his cruise book several years ago and asked if I still have it.  Of course I do.  In any event he asked if I would return it and I replied, "Of course." one more time.  Then he asked when I was going to post the photos he e-mailed to me.  I found them and they are now below.  My apologies to Frank for overlooking this task.
